Animal Tails in 2012 was a “silly adventure, five
stories filled with hi-jinx and much laughter!: say the organisers.
This
year, the second instalment, Animal Tails
II is returning with a bang to The Catalina Theatre and promises to provide
another action-packed adventure, featuring some of the characters from last
year’s show.
Will
Winnie the Warthog realise her dream of being a fashionista… or will the evil
twin bunnies Foofoo and their henchman Fluffy McFluff ruin her plan? Will the
three Amigo Pups get the stash… or will the mean cat Gruesome foil their plan? Who
will win the TV Quiz Show with the dashing Monkee Jones and his gorgeous Hello
Kitties? Will Rolex the Watchdog learn a valuable lesson in kindness on the
farm?
Animal Tails II is directed
by Sandy Bigara and features Shika Budhoo, Shona Johnson, Musa
Ntuli and Savanna Rae Grace. Filled with singalong action songs as well as
humour that mums and dads will laugh at (Will Ferell/Jack Black style humour),
this is an entertaining and educational madcap show for the whole family.
There
will be a cameo appearance by Justin Beaver, as well as the first debut
performance of the talented Savanna Rae Grace (four and a half years old) as
the show’s opening act!
The show
runs until December 22 at 11h00 daily at Catalina Theatre, Wilson’s Wharf.
