The Playhouse Company, Durban, by arrangement with DALRO, announces auditions for the production of the popular musical West Side Story in Durban during the festive season in 2013. The production will be directed by Ralph Lawson and choreographed by Adele Blank.

Auditions will be held in Durban on December 13, 2012, at the Playhouse.

West Side Story is based on a conception of Jerome Robbins, book by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. The entire original production was directed and choreographed by Jerome Robbins and originally produced on the Broadway stage by Robert E Griffith and Harold S Prince by arrangement with Roger L.
