(Work on paper by Hussein Salim)
To start off 2013, the
Elizabeth Gordon Gallery will feature new works on paper just received from
Sudanese artist, Hussein Salim.
Hussein uses an
extravagant layering technique on these oils on paper to create a dense impasto
feel. His use of personal symbolism is as ancient as it is contemporary. His
works come in a variety of sizes and make an effective display in groups or
individually.
