Opening
at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre on Tuesday (February 26) is An Audience with Pieter-Dirk EISH! from master
satirist, Pieter-Dirk Uys, who has prepared four hours of performance choices
to present nightly in his new show.
This brilliant collage features the 10
characters audiences can request along with their creator. Photos taken and
organized by Stefan Hurter:

Saudi Arabian Princess to become Wife #5 (or is it 6?) to President Zuma so
that his billion rand homestead/compound/ palace/kraal Nkandla in KZN can get
Saudi oil at a discount.
Mother Theresa sits in penance about the
fact that Jesus is determined to wait till the ANC is out of power before He
comes back
Old kugel Nowell Fine, one of Uys's
favourite friends, coming on this road from Mangaung not just for the ride

German Chancellor Angela Merkel wondering
if the job as a bank manager in Athens wouldn’t be easier
Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu all singing,
all dancing, all wonderful.
From left to right in the front row:

up on his Madiba Magic
Bambi Kellermann loving every moment of the
limelightPieter-Dirk Uys blissfully unaware of the trouble he is in for!

Wilderness.
Every
night promises a different show as the audience decides what they want. With
the choice of 15 boxes on stage, a member of the audience chooses a number. Out
come characters and entertainment that could be either a drama, a comedy, a
farce or a shocking exposé. Every box holds a familiar secret! Every laugh
truly South African!

Theatre from February 26 to March 10 with performances from Tuesdays to
Saturdays at 20h00 (Sundays at 15h00) Tickets R140 booked through Computicket.
