Lovers of QI will welcome the news that the 8th series of eight
episodes will be televised next month.
QI is the comedy quiz show chaired by Stephen Fry and boasting a host
of witty guest contestants from the world of entertainment. The questions on QI are so difficult that the panel
almost never get a right answer, so points are only awarded for interesting
answers.
Series 8 sees every episode focus on a
different topic beginning with the letter G. These include everything from the
rather vague ˜gallimaufry“, meaning a jumble or hotchpotch to the
scientifically-specific “gravity” and “geometry”.
Guests this series include QI regulars Phill Jupitus, Jo Brand,
Sean Lock and David Mitchell, while Alan Davies retains his place as the ever-present
butt of Stephen Fry’s wicked wit.
QI Series 8 starts on March 5 at 20h30 on BBC Entertainment (channel
120 on DStv)
