The Hawk is a new South African comedy created by
the Matric boys of Michaelhouse, under the direction of William le Cordeur.
Based on Gogol's The Inspector General,
the play tells the story of small town South Africa and corruption, where the
mistaken identity of a man as a member of the crime-fighting Hawks, turns the
town upside down in guilt-ridden panic. This production is relevant, hilarious,
and original, performed by a highly talented cast of emerging talents.
The Hawk runs in the Schlesinger Theatre at
Michaelhouse from February 18 to 20. Tickets R50 booked through 033 234 1049 or
