They’re back! The designers of the
eThekwini Municipality Business Support, Tourism and Markets Unit fashion
development programme arrived back last night from their two month stint in
Milan, Italy.
The students had the opportunity to meet
top designers, work in fashion houses, showcase their designs to the
international market and understand everything about “the business of fashion”.
Greeted by the BSTMU Programme Manager, Sindi Shangase at King Shaka
International Airport, the five of the 10 designers were Amanda van Tonder,
Jamal Nxedlana, Karla Lortan, Mxolisi Mkhize, Sandile Mlambo who were pleased
to be back home after their fashion experience.
