127 will air the movie, Mortal Thoughts, on March 27 at
20h00.
Directed by Alan Rudolph in 1991, this is a
disturbing drama starring Demi Moore (Ghost,
GI Jane) and Bruce Willis (Sin City,
The Expendables), who were married at the time of filming. When a boorish,
good-for-nothing man is murdered, suspicion is cast on his wife Glenne Headly (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Mr Holland’s Opus)
and her best friend.
Harvey Keitel (Reservoir Dogs, Thelma and Louise) plays the detective who tries to
get to the bottom of the mysterious killing. Told retrospectively through
flashbacks, the fragments combine to form a dark, atmospheric picture of
domestic violence, its associated moral dilemmas and its possible consequences.
