Be transported back in time to the early
70’s when Elvis, the King of Rock n’ Roll, was headlining on the Vegas Strip.
Rhumbelow Theatre presents Walking in Memphis, a Rocktainment
Production featuring Doug Weich as “Elvis”. The show promises to have audiences
glued to their seats for the full 80 minute performance, as he belts out a
whole repertoire of songs with Blue Suede
Shoes, Love Me Tender and Hound Dog
being amongst the mix.
Based in KZN, Doug Weich is a
well-established ETA (Elvis Tribute Artist) who has been performing since a
very young age, with over 400 shows under his belt. He really gets into
character when on stage and with his array of glittering jumpsuits, this show
is definitely one not to be missed.
The show is for all ages, so why not you
put on your dancing shoes and come and dance the night away with “Elvis” as he
serenades you, you might be one of the lucky ones who receives a scarf that is
handed out by “Elvis” during the show.
“If you’re an Elvis fan, no explanation is
necessary. If you’re not an Elvis fan,
no explanation is possible.”
