(Lisa
Bobbert)
Join celebrity actress Lisa Bobbert for
brunch – and help those in need.
One of Durban’s most loved and versatile
stage personalities, Lisa Bobbert, will host a special networking function for
women entitled Brunch with Bobbert at
Durban Country Club on April 19.
Also appearing will be well-known theatre personalities
Shelley McLean, Stacey Taylor-Broderick, Marion Loudon and Liesl Coppin Laurenz
for a fun and informative morning filled with laughter, song and connecting. The
event will be given in support of the popular actress’s Joy Project initiative,
a non-profit organisation formed to raise funds for poverty-stricken orphans,
widows and other causes in dire need of support.
“I talk about coping with life and how to
navigate some of life’s challenges,” says Bobbert. “I also remind people that
the Hollywood role model of us all perfectly multi-tasking, is not realistic.
How can we begin to achieve that? Personally I would love to kill Superwomen.
She has a lot to answer for!”
To date, funds raised through Lisa
Bobbert’s Joy Project have helped put two young people from a children’s home
in Jozini in northern Zululand through university, as well as helping other
poverty-stricken orphans and widows financially.
Join Lisa for a fun and informative morning
filled with laughter and connecting. There will be loads of prizes, lucky draws
and give-aways, and every lady will take home a surprise goody bag.
