The Rainbow Restaurant will feature Mbuso Khoza and support act Lindiwe Maxolo in concert.

“Bit of a tough one to sell, considering both of these SAMA 2013 nominated artists are having their debut on the Rainbow stage,” says joint owner of the Rainbow, Neil Comfort. “Then again, maybe not. Pretty much as soon as Mbuso Khoza's debut album Zilindile came out in the second half of 2012, I started hearing about this proud Zulu vocalist who originally hails from Eshowe. Then he started gigging to promote said album and soon I had numerous direct requests from regular supporters of our music programme that we just had to get him to the Rainbow. Then Khoza picked up the Best Contemporary Jazz Album at the Metro FM Awards in February!”

Audiences will have a chance to catch him on the Rainbow stage with a great line-up that features Sam Ibe from Nigeria on drums, Bongani Masina on bass, Luyanda Madope on piano and Fatso on guitar.

The concert takes place on April 28. Doors open at 13h00 with the music just after 14h00. Tickets R60 at the door or presale via
