A Sony Entertainment Television Series forthcoming highlight
is The Replacement Killers which airs
on the channel on April 17 at 20h00.
An American take on the classic Hong Kong-style action
flick, this fast-paced thriller boasts fight scenes choreographed by legendary
martial arts director, John Woo.
It stars Chow Yun-Fat (Bulletproof
Monk, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) in his American acting debut as a
disillusioned assassin whose conscience won’t allow him to carry out a
particular contract. Naturally, this act of defiance places a huge red target
on his back – and the hitman soon finds the tables turned, as a hit is put out
on him.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua (1998), this fast-paced fun movie
stars Oscar®-winner Mira Sorvino (Mighty
Aphrodite, Romy and Michele’s High
School Reunion).
