Movie Highlight on April 26 at 20h00 will be Zodiac, directed by David Fincher (2007).
This highly rated thriller is based on the
true-life unsolved crime of the infamous serious killer who terrorised San
Francisco in the late 1960s. The Zodiac murderer wore an executioner’s hood as
he guns down his victims, and rubbed salt into the wound by taunting the police
with cryptic letters and clues.
This classy film centres on investigators’
relentless and often obsessive hunt for the killer. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain, Prince of Persia) as
Robert Graysmith (on whose non-fiction book the film is based), as well as Mark
Ruffalo (The Avengers, The Kids are All
Right) and Robert Downey Jr (Iron
Man, Chaplin).
