UKZN School of Arts: Music Discipline is to
presents An Evening of South African
Flute Music tomorrow (Friday, May 24).
Liesl Stoltz, the renowned Cape Town
flautist, is currently an AW Mellon foundation post-doctoral fellow at the SA
College of Music: University of Cape Town. She will be presenting an evening of
South African flute music including works by Hendrik Hofmeyr, Peter Klatzow,
Alan Stephenson, Alexander Johnson and Paul-Loeb van Zuilenburg. She will be
accompanied by Durban-based pianist Liezel-Maret Jacobs.
The performance will take place at 19h30
tomorrow (May 24) at the Centre for Jazz and Popular Music on the Howard
College Campus of the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Tickets R60 (R30 students
