The programme for Monday night (May 13) at
the popular Mondays at Six @ St Clements will feature Rick and Gill Andrew,
plus Richard Ellis.
The evening begins with a short tribute to
Syd Kitchen - an eight minute film made by the Bushman Movie company.
Thereafter MUD, the trio consisting of Rick
and Gill Andrew (aka Charlie and Théreza Berea) and Richard Ellis will perform
a clutch of songs, mostly their own material, but including something by Syd
Kitchen, something by Bob Dylan and something traditional.
MUD’s most recent song - a
state-of-the-nation protest rap, titled Sick
of It - will be performed to the beat of a buffalo drum.
St
Clements is situated at 191 Musgrave Road. Mondays at Six run between 18h00 and
19h00. Booking is advised on 031 202 2511. There is no cover charge but there
is a donations box to support presenters.
