Interested in painting portraits? With
millions of people all over the world, each with their own unique personality,
surely we can never tire or exhaust our source of inspiration and intrigue.
Presented by artist Jane Digby, this Portrait
Workshop offers a guide to expressive, impressionistic portraiture - painting
beyond the skin and beyond photo representation. “It will be a time to explore
tone, colour and texture to create portraits with emotion, character and depth,”
she says. “Tapping into our intuition, using various sources of inspiration, we
will enjoy creative time with ourselves and our subject, tapping into “the
window of the soul”.”
The workshops take place at 8 Turkeyberry
Lane, Simbithi Eco-Estate, Ballito, from 09h00 to 13h00 each day. Cost R500 per
person per workshop.
