MARITZBURG MUSICIANS CLUB

Kicking off tonight (Tuesday July 16) at 20h00 in Pietermaritzburg, the Maritzburg Musicians Club will open with Grant Christie in a programme featuring the Gloucester Blues Project, providing some cool blues to match the winter months!

Grant Christie is no stranger to the MMC stage. He has also appeared at Splashy Fen, where he was well received.

Formed in mid-2005, the Gloucester Blues Project is an experienced contemporary blues/rock outfit from Pietermaritzburg. With a sound that is deeply rooted in traditional blues melodies and infused with contemporary rock and roll flair, the band has developed an austere sound unique enough to call their own. Appearing on stages across KZN, the Gloucester Blues Project has earned a loyal following in and around their hometown.

The home of the Maritzburg Musicians Club, The Red Door is situated in Quarry Rd, off Victoria Road, in Pietermaritzburg. Car guards on duty. More information from Roger O’Neill on 083 230 6562
