As the research partner for the drama
series, Intersexions, CADRE is
conducting a qualitative evaluation of the second series that recently finished
airing on SABC1.
One of the researchers, Laura Myers, has
been struggling to find participants for a focus group discussion in Durban
next week about the series, so wanted to put out a call for help in case anyone
fits the demographics and would be willing to participate in a lively
discussion, sharing their views of the show.
The requirements are simply that they
should:

Be age 30 or older

Have been regular viewers of Intersexions, e.g. watched at least half
(13) episodes or more, including the last one (a one-hour documentary-style
episode that was on last week)

Live in a ‘urban’ area,
for example in Durban or the nearby suburbs. (If someone is professionally
employed and lives in a township, this may suffice.)

to meet people on Tuesday afternoon or evening, August 20. Refreshments and
travel reimbursement will be provided.
