The next meeting of the Live Poets Society
(LiPS) takes place tomorrow (September 4).
The Guest Poet for the month of September
is author Sarita Mathur who has just published her first book. In the
motivational collection Once Again Love,
Mathur introduces readers to the joy of a life filled with love through a
whimsical mixture of poetry and prose. At times heartbreaking, Sarita’s
recollection of the experiences that brought her to this point of inner
radiance remains an uplifting testament to the power of positive thinking.
Sarita Mathur has dedicated herself to a
life of helping and healing, becoming a visualization and motivational expert
specializing in Reiki and emotional intelligence.
She has chosen the theme for the evening to
be Love And Its Absence. “We are
spiritual beings living in a physical world,” she says. “What connects us to
each other are our emotions. Whether rich or poor, young or old, everybody goes
through cycles of joy, sorrow as well as the emotions which are between these
two. However, all of us know that we can find Once Again Love and we are all capable of “Reconnecting with our
Heart”. So take heart and live life joyfully and embrace change .There is no
time like the present. The present is a gift. Accept it and enjoy it.
The LiPS meeting takes place at the
COLLECTIVE, 48b Florida Road Greyville Durban (entrance in 4th Avenue) on September 4 at 17h30
for 18h00. Admission is free. For more information contact Danny Naicker, Convener
