Early
this year, The Family Players offered a variety concert at Rhumbelow Theatre as
a Fundraiser. The response was so good that it has been decided to put on
another variety evening.
The Ultimate Variety Show will feature Belinda Dolphin,
Roland Stansell, Derek Pearce, Greg Baptie, Charel Haasbroek, Doug Weich and
Trevor Gandy. It will offer some music, opera, comedy drag, magic, singing and
dancing.
Performances
take place on October 4 and 5 at 20h00 as well as on October 11 and 12 at 20h00.
There will be two performances on October 13 at 14h00 and 18h30. The venue opens 90 minutes before show for picnic dinner.
Tickets R100 (less 25% pensioners and
tables of eight or more).
Take along food picnic baskets and braais
will be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A
cash bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow
Theatre is situated in Cunningham
Avenue off Bartle Road.
