The Salim Washington Sextet will perform at
Rainbow Restaurant on October 27.
“With Salim Washington due to go into
rehearsal for the next big KickstArt December production, we thought we had
better just squeeze in this one concert featuring our favourite visiting
saxophonist,”: says co-owner of the Rainbow Restaurant, Neil Comfort.
Joining Salim Washington on sax will be
Leon Scharnick whilst Philani Ngidi (bass) and Paki Peleoele (drums) handle
rhythm section. Lungelo Ngcobo is on piano and Lihle Mngoma will feature on
vocals.
The music starts at 14h00 on October 27 (doors
open at 13h00) at the Rainbow Restaurant. Tickets R60 at the door. The Rainbow
