SYMPHONY IN THE CITY

Nothing to do this evening (October 19) – on this cheerless rainy Saturday night? Make plans to catch the Tchaikovsky Spectacular Symphony in the City in the Pietermaritzburg City Hall

The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra will be under the baton of young American conductor Daniel Walshaw who makes his South African debut following his recent appointment to the staff of the KZN Philharmonic. He is also the husband of the Orchestra’s recently appointed Concert Master, Joanna Frankel who appears in the programme along with fellow soloists Boris Kerimov (cello) and Christopher Duigan (piano).

Symphony in the City takes place this evening (October 19) at 19h00 in the Pietermaritzburg City Hall and is presented by Parklane SUPERSPAR in association with the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra and Christopher Duigan's Music Revival. Tickets R100 to R160 at the door.

Parking is secure and patrolled in the City Hall, Tatham Art Gallery and Bessie Head Library precincts.
