Spectacular Symphony in the City in
the Pietermaritzburg City Hall
The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra will be under
the baton of young American conductor Daniel Walshaw who makes his South
African debut following his recent appointment to the staff of the KZN Philharmonic.
He is also the husband of the Orchestra’s recently appointed Concert Master,
Joanna Frankel who appears in the programme along with fellow soloists Boris
Kerimov (cello) and Christopher Duigan (piano).
Symphony
in the City takes place this evening (October 19)
at 19h00 in the Pietermaritzburg City Hall and is presented by Parklane SUPERSPAR
in association with the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra and Christopher
Duigan's Music Revival. Tickets R100 to R160 at the door.
Parking is secure and patrolled in the City
Hall, Tatham Art Gallery and Bessie Head Library precincts.
