Violinist Joanna Frankel had to cancel her performance for
Music Recital recently due to illness. However, she will perform tomorrow
(November 9) night at 19h30 and Music Recital is offering an extra special meal
for the evening!
The Concert Master of the KZN Philharmonic, Joanna Frankel plays
a programme of virtuoso violin favourites. With Christopher Duigan at the piano
she will perform music by Elgar, the beguiling Bach-Gounod Ave Maria, Massenet's Thais
Meditation, Kreisler's celebrated Loves
Joy and Sorrows, and Saint-Saens and Ravel's gypsy-inspired Tzigane.
The performance takes place at 19h30 on November 9. Tickets R100
includes a welcome drink on arrival and coffee. For an extra R50, a light meal of
chicken, spinach and mushroom lasagne and salad is on offer from 18h30. Bring
your own wine to enjoy with the meal.
