Rhumbelow Theatre Durban and Pietermaritzburg
are to present a mix of Rock n Roll party favourites saluting all things
festive! It’s the end of 2013 and everyone is gearing up for Christmas and the
countdown to 2014.
Join Marion Loudon and the Reals for ‘Tis The Season!, a festive party show
designed to knock the ‘stuff’ out of ‘stuffiness’ with a line up of festive
favourites with rock and pop classics from yesteryear including All I Want for Christmas, Santa Baby and
Rocking Around the Christmas Tree.
The Reals comprise Barry Thomson on guitar,
with musical director Dawn Selby on keyboards, Mali Sewell on drums and Jason
Andrew on the bass guitar. Marion Loudon will be joining them on vocals.
Performances take place in Durban in Cunningham
Avenue off Bartle Road on December 19 at 19h30, December 20 at 20h00 and
December 21 at 14h00 and 20h00.
The show then moves to Rhumbelow
Pietermaritzburg for two performances on December 22 – at 14h00 and 18h30 at the
Allan Wilson Shellhole at 5 Durban Road.
There will be a further performance in
Durban on December 24 at 19h30.
Each venue opens 90 minutes before show for
picnic dinner. Tickets R100 (less 25% pensioners and tables of eight or more).
Take along food picnic baskets and braais
will be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A
cash bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises).
