Darryl Hofmann and his Whole Food supported
by the Glenwood Community Forum, have put together a morning market involving
good food and family activities for tomorrow’s Bulwer Food & Craft Lovers
Market. The focus will be on fresh and fabulous food. Hofmann has carefully
chosen stallholders to create a deli-vibe – allowing visitors to purchase
produce from the stalls, and assemble a meal picnic style. Included in the
stallholders’ mix is fresh and fabulous foods; handmade craft and decor items;
gift ideas; collectables and bric-brac; new and vintage garments; old and new
books; leather craft and stalls supporting various charities and NGOs.
Proving laidback acoustic vibes as a Sunday
morning sound-track will be Durban-based singer/songwriter Ross Charles.
Developing his music style in venues from Durban to Ballito, his music ranges
from old school classics to modern day favourites. A music student at COPA SA,
his music is based around his powerful vocals and is backed up by a punchy
acoustic guitar sound. Alongside popular covers, Ross Charles also performs his
own original music, based around influences from both the Rock and acoustic
genres.
The Bulwer Food & Craft Lovers Market
takes place in Bulwer Park, Glenwood, on February 2 from 09h00 to 14h00. There
will be fun activities for the kids, and the children's play area is
operational. For more information contact Sam on 076 862 1547 or 076 676 0760.
