In the search to find a winning team to follow-on from “Team Khaya” - Khaya Mthethwa’s handpicked 20-piece choir from KZN which won the inaugural Clash of the Choirs in 2013 - the auditions kick off in Johannesburg on February 15 and 16.

On the first day of each audition, the choirmasters will scout talent in the streets of surrounding areas to ensure that even those who can’t make it to the main venue auditions have a chance of being spotted while the well-known musician, songwriter, and producer RJ Benjamin will audition and coach aspirant singers at the main venue.

On Day Two, the singers scouted by the choirmasters in the respective locations will come together with those who have made it onto RJ’s shortlist as well as anyone who could not make it on the Saturday.

After singing their hearts out, the Clash of the Choirs SA 2 seven Choirmasters will select their final 20 to make-up their choir.

Once again sponsored by Metropolitan, this hugely popular show follows the journeys of seven choirs as they receive expert coaching to develop the singers and are guided by the vision of each choir’s Choirmaster. These seven choirs will eventually be whittled down to only three for the grand finale.
