Music Revival presents a special fund-raising concert at the
Michaelhouse Chapel with the highly regarded and very popular Concert Master of
the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic, Joanna Frankel.
An internationally acclaimed concert violinist and Juilliard
graduate, Frankel divides her time between her role as Concert Master with the
KZNPO in Durban and New York where she continues her work as part of the Carnegie
Hall Academy Programme. She partners Christopher Duigan in music by Mozart,
Elgar, the beguiling Bach-Gounod Ave
Maria, Massenet's Thais Meditation,
Kreisler's celebrated Loves Joy and
Sorrows, and concert showpiece by Saint-Saens and Bazzini.
The concert is in aid of the Anne Burke Benefit Fund and will
take place in The Michaelhouse Chapel at Balgowan on March 21 at 19h30. Tickets
