Robin Radue, a former senior lecturer at
the Durban University of Technology’s Drama Studies Department until his
retirement in 1999, passed away on February 26 at St Augustine’s Hospital.
Debbie Lutge, HOD at Department, pays this
tribute: “Robin Radue was a Senior Lecturer when I started lecturing at what
was then Technikon Natal in 1989 and retired before I became HOD at the Durban
University of Technology in 2001. The Department of Drama and Production
Studies is saddened to learn of his passing at the age of 75 so close to his
76th birthday on April 20, 2014. He passed away unexpectedly after being hospitalized
after a bad fall. The Department of Drama and Production Studies send our
deepest condolences to his only sister and her family. Robin Radue will be
fondly remembered and sorely missed.”
A memorial service will be held at Glenwood
Community Church, 115 Bulwer Road (Corner of Clark & Bulwer) at 10h00 tomorrow
(Monday March 3).
