The KZN Midlands Matric Art Exhibition,
recently opened in the Main Room of the Tatham Art Gallery in Pietermaritzburg,
represents one of the gallery’s annual highlights as it always produces
fascinating ideas and methods from young artists who take art as a Matric
subject.
Most of the works were pre-selected last year,
when Gallery staff members went around to different schools to view Matric Art
works on display. The final selection was made with an external selector.
The KZN Midlands Matric Art Exhibition runs
at the Tatham Art Gallery until April 20 at 17h00. For more information on the

The Tatham Art Gallery is situated opposite
the Town Hall in Chief Albert Luthuli Street, Pietermaritzburg. It is open from
