Tonight (April 7), the Barnyard Theatre at
Gateway will stage Dark Side of the Moon,
a new Pink Floyd tribute show from Mel Botes.
This follows on from Crazy Diamond - A Tribute to Pink Floyd, which has already been
staged more than 150 times since its debut in 2008, and has enjoyed sold out
shows at The Barnyard.
Taking centre stage is Mel Botes,
undoubtedly one of South Africa's most talented guitarists and songwriters.
Based on the success of his Crazy Diamond
show and public demand, Mel successfully launched the second chapter in his
series of Pink Floyd Tribute shows in October 2013 at the Atterbury Theatre to
a sold-out audience.
This electrifying multi-dimensional show
has received rave reviews, and thousands of die-hard fans of one of the most
successful rock bands of all time who previously attended the Crazy Diamond
shows across South Africa, were taken aback by the authentic sounds and
captivating story.
