Exciting
local quilt show!
Would you like a chance of winning a Pfaff
sewing machine as well as having an inspiring day out? Then come along to the
Kloof Quilt Show, taking place at the Kloof Civic Hall, corner of Old Main and
Village roads, on Saturday (May 10).
The show is being hosted by Village
Quilting Guild, Kloof Country Quilters and Grassroots Quilters Guild as a
fundraiser for the 2015 National Quilting Festival to be held at Kearsney
College in July next year.
There will be a range of beautiful quilts
on exhibition, some of which will be for sale.
An American auction will be held of a
selection of A3 size quilts made by quilters from all over South Africa and there
will be loads of vendors with goodies for sale. A number of raffles will be available
and the most important one is a Pfaff sewing machine which will be drawn on
Saturday before the close of the Show.
Entrance fee R30 includes refreshments.
Proceeds from the show will go towards the 2015 National Quilt Festival, to be
hosted by the KZN Quilting Guild.
The Kloof Quilt Show will take place at the
Kloof Town Hall on May 10 from 09h00 to 15h00. Entrance Fee R30 includes tea or
coffee and a snack.
