Plett Fringe Festival 2014 provides an offer
to performing artists at the event which will take place from June 26 to July 3
and leads up to the start of the National Arts Festival 2014.
Following the success of last year’s
festival, the organisers from the NPO Kids of Kurland School Project (www.kidsofkurland.com) are offering performing
artists the opportunity to preview their show in Plettenberg Bay, the gem of
the Garden Route, on their way to the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown.
This is an annual fundraiser for the NPO
where all proceeds support the education of children at The Crags Primary
School.
The festival is able to provide a free
night B/B for the whole team and a performance fee of R1,500 for a solo show to
a maximum R2,500 for a group show, all inclusive.
Performances will take place in the White
House Theatre in the heart of Plettenberg Bay, which seats up to 250 people.
To send your request to take part in the
festival, email jillmcilleron@gmail.com
providing details and age suitability of your show.
