The end
of June is fast approaching, which means there are only a few days left to get Early
Bird tickets for this year’s White Mountain Festival. Tickets are currently on
sale at Computicket for R500, which includes camping for the entire festival
from September 24 to 28. From July 1,
advance tickets will cost R650, so get in early and save!
“Known
for its intimate, relaxed atmosphere and stunning setting, White Mountain is
still one of the best-kept secrets on the festival circuit – and we aim to keep
it that way!” say the festival organisers.
The event
is also KZN’s only acoustic music festival and is held at White Mountain Lodge
near Giant’s Castle, just 185km from Durban, 400km from Johannesburg and only
25km off the N3 on tarred roads.
With its
spacious grounds, fishable dam, charming old pub (with satellite TV and live
music), restaurant and swimming pool, the lodge’s many amenities add another
dimension to the usual festival experience! Also on offer are colourful arts
and crafts, assorted food outlets and a beer market featuring several local
breweries.
Take
advantage of the Heritage Day public holiday on September 24 and escape to
White Mountain for a four-day line-up of some of the best acoustic acts in the
country!

for children aged 4 to 11. Children under four get in free. Computicket has
numerous outlets around the country, including the Money Market counters at all
