Following last year’s fun variety concert, The Family
Players have decided to put the event into the annual calendar.
Expect some music, opera, comedy drag, magic, singing and
dancing – what more can you ask of a fun and entertaining evening out? Performers
include Belinda Dolphin, Roland Stansell, Derek Pearce, Greg Baptie. Invited guests
include Sarah McFarland, Ross Charles and a young brother and sister team,
Ethan and Jenna Dunk.
Shows take place tonight and tomorrow (July 25 and 26) at
20h00 with two performances on Sunday (July 27) – at 14h00 and 18h30. The venue
opens 90 minutes before show for picnic dinner.
Tickets R120 (R100 pensioners and tables of eight or more).
Take along food picnic baskets and braais will be available.
There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is
available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Durban is
situated in Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road and Rhumbelow Pietermaritzburg is
in the Allan Wilson Shellhole in Pietermaritzburg.
