In celebration of 20 years of Democracy the Nelisa Mzimela
Legacy Foundation presents the third annual Ntuzuma / INK Arts Festival - an
arts, culture and tourism project established and managed by the organisation
founded for this purpose by Nelisa Mzimela. The festival runs from August 26 to
30 2014 in Ntuzuma Township.
The Workshops take place at the Ink Creative Centre as
follows:
August 26 from 10h00 to 13h00: Theatre Workshop for emerging
Theatre Directors facilitated by Roel Twijnstra from Twist Theatre Projects. 15
spaces available.
August 26 from 11h00 to 16h00: A Collective of visual and
performing artists will present their works and address emerging artists to
inspire and talk about art for life. Contributors: KZNSA Gallery, The Green
Camp and few others. 50 spaces available.
August 27 from 11h00 to 13h00: Music Industry Workshop
featuring various music organisations and artists. Organisers of the South
Africa Music Awards (SADMA) will present the concept to the musicians. 50 spaces
available.
August 26 from 11h00 to 16h00: Filmmakers Workshop Session
1: Permits and Location scout Programme Filmmakers Workshop Session 2:
Development Programmes / FilmMart Facilitated by the Durban Film Office. Film
Screenings during intervals. 15 spaces available.
