The ARTWARD International Art Competition, initiated by the
Independent Contemporary Art Advisors ICAA e.K and awarded already for the 7th
time, supports highly talented fine artists.
Freelance fine art artists under the age of 40, debutants
and art students from the areas of painting, sculpting, photography, graphic
reproduction, installation, video, media art, and new media are eligible for
participation. The goal is to support artists in their unencumbered creation.
Each candidate is presented with its own online gallery on the website
www.artward.de.
The 7th ARTWARD consists of a financial award to support
artistic practice of € 4,000 as well as a newcomer award of € 1,000. There is also
a six-week Artist-in-Residence in the studio loft by Belgian collector Alain
Servais, Brussels, and a public choice award of € 300.
Their focus is the transparent and democratic promotion of
artistic creativity through financial support and sustainable public awareness.
The final decision regarding the award of prizes is made by the board of
ARTWARD and a jury of art-world professionals.

Applications not complying to this rule will not be
considered.
To cover the administrative, personnel, programming and
logistics costs associated with entering the contest, a participation fee of €
20,50 must be paid. While you pay the fee, you can benefit from the ARTWARD
platform and their active public relations. The fee is payable by submitting
the application and is not refundable.
