A MILLION PIECES OF ME

With one more performance this afternoon (October 5) at Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre, Kerusha Kisten’s A Million Pieces of Me is directed by Rajendran Govender.

A Million Pieces of Me is about a girl who is abused sexually, physically emotionally and mentally. She has been a victim of alcohol abuse and has attempted suicide. The play is based on a true story and aims to tackle the issue of women abuse in a confrontational way.

Working with Avishaan Mahase of Cappuccino Studios, Kerusha Kisten combines live theatre and animation. It is being presented alongside the A Million Voices Against Women Abuse campaign and features five men from the Men who Care programme

Costumes and design are by Yasmin Saanglae and Keegan Naidoo. Today’s performance at the iZulu Theatre at Sibaya Casino takes place at 15h00. Tickets R125 from Computicket and the Sibaya box office. The age restriction is 13 (SNL)
