With one more performance this afternoon (October 5) at
Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre, Kerusha Kisten’s A
Million Pieces of Me is directed by Rajendran Govender.
A Million Pieces of Me
is about a girl who is abused sexually, physically emotionally and mentally.
She has been a victim of alcohol abuse and has attempted suicide. The play is based
on a true story and aims to tackle the issue of women abuse in a
confrontational way.
Working with Avishaan Mahase of Cappuccino Studios, Kerusha
Kisten combines live theatre and animation. It is being presented alongside the
A Million Voices Against Women Abuse campaign and features five men from the
Men who Care programme
Costumes and design are by Yasmin Saanglae and Keegan
Naidoo. Today’s performance at the iZulu Theatre at Sibaya Casino takes place
at 15h00. Tickets R125 from Computicket and the Sibaya box office. The age
