INSULTING RHYMES, REVOLTING CRIMES!

The Hilton College Drama Department presents will present Insulting Rhymes, Revolting Crimes! Tonight and tomorrow night (October 30 and 31)

Three well-known fairy tale characters are arrested for an array of crimes, from breaking and entering to chopping off heads. After spending the shortest while in a holding cell at the Hilton Police Station, this terrible trio escapes and they are currently roaming free in the little town of Hilton. Learn what on earth these dangerous delinquents have done to land them in prison in the first place, and what is going to happen now that they are running loose?!

Based on the much-loved compilation of twisted fairytales, Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes, this is a stylised, modernised and South Africanised take on Dahl's versions of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks with a little dash of Hilton College flavour.

Featuring a cast of Grade 8 and 9 pupils, this is an exciting venture for the Drama Department as these young men take to the Hilton Theatre stage for the first time. In the meantime, remain on the lookout for any suspicious, criminal behaviour...!

Performances take place in the Hilton College Theatre tonight and tomorrow (October 30 and 31) at 19h00. Tickets R30. Bookings: www.hiltontheatre.co.za or online using a credit card or by EFT via www.hiltontheatre.co.za Ticket collection at the counter in the theatre foyer from 45 minutes before each show starts.
