A number of first class shows are coming up at the
Schlesinger Theatre at Michaelhouse.
These are A Quartet of
Concerts (October 12); Arias for
Lyric Tenor (October 18); Guy Buttery and Gareth Gale (October 31) and Stars of the Morning (November 6 to 8).
There are limited tickets for A Quartet of Concerts.
Arias for Lyric Tenor
is a stunning collaboration between two emerging stars on the South African
classical music stage, tenor Sandile Mabaso and pianist Lara Kirsten. This is
for classical music lovers and those who need an introduction to the beauty of
music.
The big once-off will definitely be Guy Buttery and Gareth
Gale on October 31, so book early as the demand on tickets is expected to be
high. Guy recently returned from a European tour and is considered South
Africa's biggest acoustic export.
Ending off with Stars
of the Morning, which is a boy/professional musical about the life of
Michaelhouse Old Boy, Brian Kramer - musician, sugar cane farmer and a man with
a passion for his family, friends and school - not to mention life!
