Lisa Bobbert, Liesl Coppin and Marion Loudon present their
highly amusing show, The Glitter Girls:
Reunion of ’89, at Rhumbelow Theatre in Umbilo this coming Sunday (October
19).
Playing a number of different characters, which showcases
this talented award-winning trio’s versatility, they invite audiences to their Skolliesville
High 20 year reunion. This gives the Glitter Girls the opportunity to relive
their greatest triumphs and heartbreaks at the reunion of the century! All the
hits, all the boys (and a few crazy characters you'll never forget), all from
the past ... and where they are today!
All three actresses have been awarded the coveted honour of
The Mercury Durban Theatre Personality of The Year over the years and their
programme includes songs from Madonna, Rihanna, Pink, Bananarama, even Alison
Moyet & Bonnie Tyler, and many more,
Performances take place on October 19 at 14h00 and 18h30. The venue opens 90 minutes before show for
picnic dinner. Tickets R120 (pensioners R100).
Take along food picnic baskets and braais will be available.
There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is
available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Theatre is
situated in Cunningham Avenue
off Bartle Road.
