Ster-Kinekor has released the blockbuster Indian film Kaththi, a Tamil action thriller
focusing on Vivek Banerjee (Tota Roy Chowdhury) who plays an international
gangster. To track him down, the cops engage the help of a criminal mastermind,
Kathiresan (Vijay). After a cat-and-mouse chase through Kolkata's dark and
dingy alleyways, Vivek is seriously injured and put behind bars. He swears
revenge against Vijay. But, when he next meets him, Vivek realizes that the man
is a dummy of the original: he has the same name, but is a different person.
Kaththi stars the hihgly
popular superstar Vijay as Kathiresan/Jeevanantham, as well as Samantha Ruth
Prabhu, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Prabhu. The film is directed
by AR Murugadoss, and produced by K Karunamoorthy and A Subhaskaran.
Kaththi is running
