The Menzi Mchunu Gallery, Bat Centre is pleased to announce
the Christmas Gift – Art to Give exhibition. The opening reception will take
place today (December 15) at 18h00.
The gallery will welcome art lovers, art connoisseurs, and
art novices alike to discover affordable art by hundreds of artists under one
roof. Participating artists come from all over Durban and surrounding areas,
bringing their choicest selections for art lovers to browse, buy, and enjoy.
All the art exhibited will be for sale between R10 and R2,000
with paintings, craft, original artist-made prints, sculpture and ceramics all
on show. Whether you are looking for artwork that is traditional or
contemporary, humorous or edgy, by a famous name or an undiscovered talent,
there is something for everyone!
Among the participating artists are Ezequiel Mabote, Everald
Matonse, Sthenjwa Luthuli, Ephraim Ngcobo and Sbonelo Hlengwa.
Christmas Gift – Art to Give runs from December 15 to January
18, 2015, in the Menzi Mchunu Art Gallery at the BAT Centre, Durban Harbour.
The Menzi Mchunu Gallery opens Monday to Friday from 09h00 to 16h00. Entrance
is free.
