Rhumbelow Theatre Durban is currently hosting The Reals - Barry
Thomson , Dawn Selby, Mali Sewell and Jason Andrew – in a production called Under The Covers.
Under the covers, lies each one of us. Each member of The
Reals has their own personality and personal musical taste which will be
exposed in the exciting repertoire of the show. Expect to enjoy a new song
selection from iconic rock artistes including Led Zeppelin, Supertramp, Mark
Knopfler, Rainbow, Heart and The Cream, with an interesting and ‘real’ creative
twist.
The Reals will perform their original songs as well as
telling interesting stories of the hidden truths behind the perceptions of “who did what and with whom....” (musically
of course!). It’s all about The Reals being themselves.
The show runs from until December 14 with performances on
December 5, 6, 12 and 13 at 20h00 and Sundays at 14h00 with an extra show on
December 14 (Sunday) at 18h30.
The venue opens 90 minutes before show for picnic dinner. Tickets
R120 (R100 pensioners).
Take along food picnic baskets. Braais will be available.
There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is
available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Durban is
situated in Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road in Umbilo.
