Former Durban actress Holly Boulind is now based in
Johannesburg but a lot of her time is taken up working on cruise ships. In
between her travels, she runs courses training talented people, giving them
insight to cruise ships and when they are ready, she helps them with their
audition tape.
Group Courses and Individual sessions take place from her
home in Greymont near Cresta Shopping Centre. Obviously individual classes are
more beneficial and clients get more value for their money.
“We cover: Characterisation, Puppetry, Audition Technique
and Showreel Expectations for South Africa and for overseas,” she explains. “Some
of my students are not interested in travelling and for those select few, we
focus on South African Agencies, Getting your name out there, focusing on
strengths and weaknesses and how to make them work for you.”
