SHARING THE LOVE AT BARNYARD

(Elme Jacobs & Kyle Matthews)

The sixties was the decade of love, peace and togetherness, so what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with Those Were The Days at The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway. The popular mall venue will be staging their tribute to the 60’s music revolution on February 14 and have a special Valentine’s Package on offer.

Patrons are able to book show tickets at the usual price of R145 per person, otherwise the package includes the show, a two-course meal, a glass of wine and tea/filter coffee for R270 per person.

The show features the crazy host, Awesome Powers (Kyle Matthews), who lines up a 60’s party to get audiences rocking and singing along from the first note. From the opening chords of Wipe Out to the closing anthem Hey Jude, Those Were the Days will take audiences back to a world that was experiencing a music revolution. Expect to hear With A Little Help From My Friends, Piece of My Heart; Love The One You’re With, California Dreamin’, Pretty Belinda, My Girl, I’m A Believer, Build Me Up Buttercup and Let The Sun Shine In among the line-up.
