YENNAI ARINDHAAL

Ster-Kinekor has released the first Tamil film for 2015! Yennai Arindhaal, a mystery drama blockbuster, is being screened at Gateway Theatre of Shopping in Durban as well as at The Zone@Rosebank in Johannesburg.

The film traces the journey of a man, Sathya Dev (Ajith Kumar), a dedicated police officer who puts work ahead of his personal life. He also puts his own life on the line to make sure his jurisdiction stays clean and free from violence and other illegal activities. But life takes an unpredictable turn when tragedy strikes in his personal life.

Sathya Dev is forced to make crucial decisions. Being of positive character and a distinguished gentleman, he has to put his values to one side, as the decision he has to make will change his entire character into the opposite of who he presently is. The film follows him as he embarks on a road trip – an unexpected journey that results in an interesting climax.

Yennai Arindhaal stars Ajith Kumar in the lead role, supported by Arun Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, Anushka Shetty, Parvathy Nair and Vivek. The film is co-written and directed by Gautham Menon, and produced by A. M. Rathnam.

The soundtrack album and background score for the film is composed by Harris Jayaraj.
