NH10

Ster-Kinekor had released the Bollywood thriller, NH10, around the country including Ster-Kinekor Gateway Theatre of Shopping in Durban.

The film's title refers to the 403km-long National Highway 10 that starts in Delhi, passes through Haryana via Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, Hisar, Fatehabad and Sirsa, and ends at the Pakistan border in Punjab.

Meera (Anushka Sharma) and Arjun (Neil Bhoopalam) are a professional couple, living in Gurgaon. When Meera leaves a party late one night, she is attacked by a group of unknown men. Although she escapes by the skin of her teeth, the encounter leaves her traumatised.

Partly blaming himself for not being with her that night, Arjun tries to make up for it by treating her to a luxurious desert holiday. They stop at a highway ‘dhaba’ (roadside restaurant) along the NH10 for dinner. Here they witness a young girl being picked up by a bunch of hoodlums and Arjun chooses to step in and take a stand, without considering the possible dangers of the situation.

NH10 is directed by Navdeep Singh, and stars Anushka Sharma and Neil Bhoopalam in the lead roles. The film also marks the production debut of Sharma. The film is co-produced by Phantom Films.
