Ster-Kinekor releases Tamil comedy, Nanbenda, in cinemas
today!
To coincide with the long weekend, Ster-Kinekor has released
the Tamil romantic comedy Nanbenda which
will be screened at Ster-Kinekor cinemas at Gateway Theatre of Shopping in
Durban and The Zone@Rosebank in Johannesburg.
Nanbenda follows
actors, Udhayanidhi, Santhanam and Nayantara who play childhood friends who
find themselves parting ways as kids and meeting each other later in life as
adults. Destiny makes sure their paths cross and they come together for a
second time. While Udhayanidhi's character revives his friendship with
Santhanam's character without much difficulty, he finds it extremely hard to do
the same with Nayantara's character, as he falls in love with her the moment he
sees her.
The rest of the story revolves around how Udhayanidhi tries
to woo his love interest with the help of his close friend. While doing so they
get into unwanted trouble with hilarious consequences. Will the hero make the
heroine fall for him?
Nanbenda stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, Nayantara and N. Santhanam. The
film is directed by Jagadish and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin.
