DIVA FEVA

CAUTION MESSAGE FROM RHUMBELOW THEATRE: “There has been an outbreak of a highly contagious virus, known to man as Diva Feva. Once the subject is musically infected this fever has been known to bring on episodes of “Ego mania, Big hair, even bigger vocals and Diva Demands”. Our cast of sexy sirens go undercover, posing as some of the music industry’s finest female singing sensations. Packed with attitude, sequence, feathers, dance and all things divalicious, our Divas will have you entertained with impersonations of the very best female artists in music history!”

This sets the scene for a production showcasing strong, independent women who have stopped at nothing to get to the top! Impersonations of the likes of Marilyn Monroe, The Supremes, Madonna, Roxette, Abba, Katy Perry, Pink, Adele, Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse, Joan Jett, Tina Turner, Lady Ga Ga and Cher to name a few!"

The cast features a group of powerhouse vocalists, Joanne and Danielle Fisher, daughters of well-known popular entertainer Danny Fisher, alongside Claire Jan Rowlett and Kerry-Lee McKibbin. All performers are renowned for their impersonating abilities. In one colourful production they bring to life the music of over 20 different Divas.

Diva Feva is presented by Steyn Alive Productions, a theatre brand that is no stranger to KZN audiences, having produced sell-out shows for The Pumpkin Theatre in Ballito for three years consecutively from 2011 to 2014. Diva Feva is one of Steyn Alive’s top all-girl productions and has been seen throughout South Africa in the corporate market, and now recently at The Casterbridge Theatre in White River.

Performances take place from May 22 to 24 and again from May 29 to 31. Friday and Saturday evening shows are at 20h00 and Sunday shows are at 18h30. There is an extra matinee performance on May 30 at 14h00.
