HEELS OVER HEAD AT UNISA

The female jazz ensemble Heels over Head will perform at the Government House on Unisa’s Pietermaritzburg Campus on May 15.

The band members are Thulile Zama (vocals), Nomkhosi Mazibuko (vocals), Chillie Stent-Wardell (guitar), Mandy Cobbing (keys), Lee Ngidi (bass) and Rebekah Doty (drums).

Heels over Head’s performance skills have won them fans and respect wherever they go and this is the long-awaited return to Pietermaritzburg. The performance will be a fun and groovy mix of originals and arrangements.

Their arrangement of Ntyilo Ntyilo as well as originals such as You Are Everything will give listeners a peak into their jazz backgrounds. Songs like Njabulo and Positive Zouk will definitely get the audience moving! Other favourites to look forward to are Love Song and Dreams. CDs will be on sale.

Jazz with Heels over Head takes place at 19h00 on May 15 at Government House, Unisa Pietermaritzburg Campus at 1 Langalibalele Street. Tickets at the door R100 (R80 students and pensioners)
